Genus builds PCB facility at Gandhidham, Gujarat...
Genus Electrotech Ltd. has put up a
new integrated electronics manufacturing facility at Anjar,
near Gandhidham, Gujarat. The facility will offer
services like
PCB manufacturing,
PCB Assembly,
SMT,
Cable
Assembly,
Injection Molding,
Sheet Metal Shop,
Powder Coating as
well as
corrugation Plant.
Genus is a leading
manufacturer of electronic energy meters and Hybrid
Microcircuits based at Jaipur Rajasthan. The new facility will
cater to domestic as well as exports market.
Meena Circuits new
PCB Plant near Vadodara,
Gujarat...
Meena Circuits Pvt. Ltd.,
promoted by Mr. Bhagubhai Patel is being commissioned at
Samlaya, near Vadodara. Expected to go online in 2-3 months
time, the plant will manufacture 1 and 2 layer PCBs,
initially. The plant capacity is 5000 Sq. Mtr per month.
Mr. Bhagubhai Patel, USA
based entrepreneur and promoter of Meena Circuits has been
involved with the PCB industry for many years. Following the
trend of moving PCB manufacturing from North America, Meena
circuits will take advantage of foreign investment incentives
offered by the Indian government.

2005, an International Exhibition and Conference, was held
during 8-10 September, 2005 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Theme of the
event was "The Indian Electronic Hardware & Manufacturing
Services Industry: The 100 Billion Dollor Opportunity".
Presentations were made by prominent speakers from leading
electronics and EMS companies like Samtel,
STMicroelectronics,
Philips, Videocom, Elcoteq Asia, TVS Electronics, Celetronix,
Jabil Circuits, Tyco, Flextronics, etc. and representatives from
Governement, Defence, Research Institutes and Industry
Associations in India.
The event was
organised by ELCINA (Electronics Industries Association of
